About this project
The School Aid Network (SAN) is a new charity, sponsored by the F1Group. SAN link schools, further and higher education, youth organisations and charities in a wide range of opportunities such as curriculum materials, volunteering and job vacancies, fund raising appeals, celebrating successes and linking skills to needs.
The website features heavy use of the Google Maps API to show locations of events and disasters around the world, and a content management system to allow SAN to update their site. Schools can log in to their accounts to advertise their events and donate the the proceeds to charities.
